Core Values

Shared core values are manifest virtues (attitudes, behaviors, norms) that are shaped

and cultivated by the collective bond of the members of the organization. 

The members of the Philippine Executive Council of Academic Affairs both embody and aspire for the following core values in four Cs:

1. Complementarity – members of PECAA move in the spirit of cooperation, collaboration, coordination, partnership, and teamwork for a common goal.
2. Collegiality – members of PECAA adhere to a sense of reciprocity, respect, and friendliness as a community of scholars, as opposed to subsidiarity.
3. Commitment – members of PECAA come together as borne out of passion, willingness, and volunteerism.
4. Common good – members of PECAA bond together for the collective welfare of the Philippine schools and the education sector while engaging the Philippine government and relevant industry stakeholders for education reforms.

Adherence to these core values defines the membership in PECAA, as these virtues

likewise provide guidance for all PECAA’s programs and activities.
